When I was 12 years old, I received my first camera as a birthday gift from my parents. It was a simple point-and-shoot film camera, but it sparked my interest in photography. I would spend hours wandering around my neighborhood, capturing images of anything that caught my eye.
My first encounter with a camera was during a family vacation when I was 10 years old. My uncle, an avid photographer, handed me his spare digital camera and encouraged me to document our trip. As I snapped photos of landscapes, family members, and interesting objects, I became fascinated with the power of capturing a moment in time.
I was 15 when I saved up enough money from my part-time job to buy my first camera. It was a second-hand DSLR, but it was a treasure to me. I remember spending endless hours researching techniques, watching tutorials, and practicing my skills.
