Deleted the Wrong Unedited Video on Mac: Free Checks To Try Before Paying
If you only need one deleted video back and the deadline is today, do not start by paying the first recovery app that shows the filename. Check the places where macOS or the original app may still have a copy, then use a recovery tool only if the video is actually gone. Avoid recording, exporting, downloading, or installing large files to the same storage in the meantime.

Do the Zero-Cost Checks First
If the video was deleted in Finder and Trash has not been emptied, open Trash and use File > Put Back. Apple notes that files moved to Trash remain there until Trash is emptied. Apple's Mac guide explains how to restore items from Trash.
If the clip had been imported into Photos, check Recently Deleted; Apple keeps deleted photos and videos there temporarily before permanent removal. If the File Is Really Gone, Test One Recovery Without Paying First
