Install recoverit on Windows:

• Download recoverit on your computer.
• Once it's downloaded successfully, you can find the recoverit installer (such as named "recoverit_setup_full4134.exe") on the Downloads list on your browser.
• Click on the installer and click Install on the pop-up window to start to install recoverit. You can also click Customize Install to change the installation path and language.
• Then just follow the onscreen instruction to install recoverit.

Install recoverit on Mac:

• After downloading recoverit on your Mac, click on the downloaded file. On the popup window, click on Agree to start to install recoverit.
• Then drag the recoverit icon to the Applications folder.
• The process will take a few seconds and then recoverit is installed successfully.

Solution 1:

If you're trying to install Recoverit and the installation gets stuck at 97%, it's an issue with system idle process high CPU usage or antimalware service executable. Here are three suggestions. Try them in order, proceeding to the next step only if you're still getting the error.

Solution 1:Clean Boot and Restart PC

For Windows 10:

• On the search bar, type “MSConfig” and hit Enter.
• Under the Startup tab, click on the open the Task Manager.
n Task Manager, Select the Wondershare related process and Click the End Process button.
• Re-download Recoverit.

For Windows 7:

• On the search bar, type “MSConfig” and hit Enter.



• Under the Startup tab, click on the open the Task Manager.



• Re-download Recoverit.

Solution 2:Temporarily turn off antivirus software

For information about how to turn off your antivirus software, check your antivirus manufacturer's website. Uninstalling your antivirus software may also help. Don't forget to reinstall it after Recoverit is finished installing and if you turned it off, be sure to turn it on again.

If you're not sure which antivirus software you have, use the following instructions to get to Control Panel to find the name of your antivirus software.

Tip: Windows 10 comes with default antivirus software, Windows Defender. If you determine that you're using it, select the Start button > Settings > Update & Security, and then select Windows Defender on the left. Slide the button to Off. Remember to turn it On again.

Solution 3: Restart your computer

The software installation may have completed. So, after you've restarted your computer, install the Recoverit again to see if the software did install.

In most cases, the downloaded dmg file is corrupt or had an error downloading.

• Firstly, try downloading the dmg again, turning off any download assistant plug-ins you may have. You can try to download the file in a different browser as well.
• Secondly, Reboot your Mac. There is an issue sometimes after opening too many dmg files, that is fixed with a reboot.

If you run into the message " Uninstallation Error", please kindly check that you have closed the Recoverit program. Then you can follow the steps below to disable the processes at startup:

• On your keyboard, press Win+R (the Windows logo key and the R key) at the same time to invoke the run box.
• Type MSConfig in the Run box and click the OK button.



• Click Open Task Manager



• Select the Wondershare related software and click the Disable button.



• Try to uninstall the program again.
